The Château de Gourgazaud, sheltered by the lower slopes of the Montagne Noire, was one of the pioneers in the development of top-quality wines from the Minervois.
The Château is mentioned on maps from the 17th century.
Its vineyard, covering an area of 100 hectares, shelters a wide range of grape varieties, producing red or white wines: Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, Chardonnay and Sauvignon.
